As a young man growing up with four brothers and five sisters, Glen learned very early in life that there were limited opportunities for him in Jamaica. In 1971, he moved to New York, NY, to join family members who were able to assist him in finding employment. Several years later, he moved to Chicago, IL, to find more lucrative work. He quickly found jobs in the food and hospitality industry. His love for cooking enabled him to pursue a career as a cook and chef. One of his passions was preparing a variety of ethnic dishes and observing people enjoying his food. He spent over forty years working in restaurants, hotels and hospitals. He retired in 2017 from St. Francis Hospital, in Evanston, IL.

Glen was a strong believer in Jesus Christ. His faith was an important foundation in his life. He was a devoted member of the Apostolic Faith Church, Chicago, IL, where he met and married Christine T. Johnson. Their union produced one daughter, Kaitlyn. He was a devoted dad to Kaitlyn and a loving grandfather to Danny Prince. He later moved his membership to Apostolic Church of God, Chicago, IL, where he could be found every Sunday morning.

Cold Chicago, IL, winters forced Glen to move to West Palm Beach, FL, in 2017. He spent most days cooking delicious meals, taking care of his green plants and gardens, and getting daily exercise in the gym. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his unshakeable faith, his beautiful gardens, and the many friendships he maintained throughout his life.

He leaves behind to mourn a daughter, Kaitlyn; a grandson, Danny; sisters Theodore Bulgin (Chicago, IL), Monica White (Brooklyn, NY), Yvonne Wright (Chicago, IL), and Remah Stewart (Brooklyn, NY); brothers Trevour (Jamaica), Oscar (Chicago, IL), and Winston (Jamaica). Preceding him is a sister, Pearl Robinson, and a brother, Gerbus. He also leaves a faithful friend, Cornell Williams, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
