Gladys Cecilia Arman

Our dear mother, Gladys ("Mima") Cecilia Arman, sadly passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 91. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She married the love of her life in 1955 and their love grew stronger with every passing year. In order to give their daughters a better life, they left their family in Cuba and made the hard decision of coming to the United States in 1967. She loved her family dearly. Her biggest joy was caring for and spoiling her grandchildren. She loved cooking, sewing, and family gatherings. She was known for her infectious smile and her kind and compassionate spirit. Gladys was preceded in death by her granddaughter, D. Janine Fuentes, her parents Elias Rivero and Josefa Fernandez de Rivero, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her adoring husband José Armán, her four daughters, Gladys Casas (Juan), Dinorah Armán (Harold), Estela Armán (Dalia) and Tomasa Raver (Bernard), her eight grandchildren, Esteban R. Fuentes (Heather), Ana M. Miller (Russell) , Nicole Fuentes, Victoria Daniel (Josh), Marisol Casas , Joseph Raver (Nick), Carissa Raver (Teddy) and her six great-grandchildren, William Gulley, Julien Fuentes, Troy Fuentes, Jacob Daniel, Abigail Daniel and Sophia Miller and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida 33411 on Friday, August 11, 2023. The viewing will take place from 12:30-1:30 PM with a service from 1:30-2:15 PM. A procession to Our Lady Queen of Peace will follow directly after the service for entombment.
