Germano "Jerry" Fasano, 90, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2011. He was born on September 19, 1921 in Postiglione, Italy. He immigrated to the United States at age 8. He proudly represented his country serving in Normandy with the United States Army during WWII. Jerry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed reading, playing cards and watching baseball. He was a master at solving crossword puzzles, and had a memory that was second to none. He was a warm and generous man who was loved by all whom had the pleasure of knowing him. Jerry's memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Ann Fasano; children, Thomas Fasano, Robert (Natacha) Fasano, Richard (Cindy) Fasano and Ann Marie (Tyler) Jennings; grandchildren, Kelly-Ann, Michael and Peter; and sister Lillian DeGise. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Palms West Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at St. Rita Catholic Church and will be entombed with Military Honors at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery following mass.
