With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of German Alvarez Hernandez, who departed this life on February 20, 2026, at the age of 61.
Born in Mexico City, German carried with him a deep love for his roots, his family, and his faith throughout his life. He was a devoted husband to Reyna Anguiano and a proud, loving father to Sara, Ruth, Carol, José, Fernando and Luis. His family was the center of his world, and he demonstrated his love daily through his strength, guidance, and unwavering support.
German dedicated his professional life to his work as an Irrigation Manager at Emerald Dunes Golf Club. He took immense pride in his work and was respected for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. His commitment and care left a lasting impact on colleagues and all who knew him.
Outside of work, German loved watching sports and cheering passionately for his favorite teams. He was a selfless and generous man, always ready to lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return. His kindness, humility, and quiet strength defined him. Above all, he was a caring father and a devoted follower of Christ, living his faith through compassion, forgiveness, and love.
German’s legacy is one of devotion — to his wife, his sons, his faith, and his community. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
