Gerald Stewart

Gerald Lee Stewart, age 81, passed away January 13, 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Gerald was born to Rupert and Anna Stewart in Alexandria, Virginia on May 9, 1947. Survived by his Wife of 55 years, Karol Stewart, brother Ronald Stewart, Sisters-in-law Karen Corbin, Debra Stewart and Dee Stewart, several nieces and nephews and his beloved cats, Baby and Sweetie. Pre-deceased in death by parents Rupert and Anna Stewart, brothers Wayne and George Stewart. Gerald graduated from Hammond High School in Alexandria, Virginia. He attended the University of Maryland. Gerald served in the United States Army for 2 years, stationed in Germany. He received a National Service Medal for his shooting skills. He retired from Virginia Electric & Power Company after 30 years as a Forestry Supervisor. He also received his Boat Captain license from the United States Coast Guard. Gerald was a member of St. Peters United Methodist Church in Wellington, Florida. Please meet in lane 1 at South Florida National Cemetery at 12:15 PM.
