Gerald (Jerry) Hulon Mann, 88, of Royal Palm Beach, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007. Jerry was born in Senoia, GA and was the 5th child of James H. Mann & Katie Mae Ballard. After high school, he started working for Walgreen?s in 1941 and retired from there in 1977. He was an Army WWII Veteran, where he served in the Philippines under Gen. Douglas MacArthur. During 1946, in Miami, FL., Jerry met his future wife of 59 years Anna Clark and they married in 1948. He was an avid fisherman, loved camping, and was a big Atlanta Braves fan. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Anna Mann, nephews, Richard(Susan) Rivers, David(Patricia) Standard, Howard(Cathy) Cutshaw, & Jeffrey(Leslie) Cutshaw. Nieces, Bridgett(Michael) Weir, Diane(Larry) Berry, & Nancy Pickens. God-daughter Cynthia(John) Hawes. Grandchildren, Nathan, Richard & Jacquelyn Hawes, & god-son Kendelle Carter. Caretakers, Loretta Brutus, Charmane Thomas, Pauline Gram, & Thelma McHale. And dear friends Amy Rhindress & Dorothy Ramey. There will be a visitation at Palms West Funeral Home Monday Oct. 22 from 5-7 pm with a 6:30 pm service. Entombment will be on Tuesday Oct 23 at 1 pm at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
