Georgette Ann Frood

Georgette Ann Frood, 84 of Loxahatchee, FL, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away July 29, 2013 peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with Leukemia. She is survived by her only son, Robert Donald Frood, her beloved grandchildren Joanne Georgette Markovich, Dawn Frood, Vily Markovich, Nicholas Frood, & Stephanie Frood. She will be forever missed by her 2 great-grandchildren Sarah Al-Buhaisi and Madison Markovich as she was a special part of their daily lives. She is also survived by her cousin, Ann; nephews, Ronnie, Pete Jr. and Greg; nieces, Vicky, Noel, Millie, Lora and Justine; brother-in-law, Ted; sister-in-law, Carol; great-nieces, Nicole and Danielle; great-nephew, Daniel and the newest edition to the family, great-great-nephew, Brayden. Georgette was an extraordinary woman, choosing to raise her eldest granddaughters as her own in her early 40's, forever changing the course of their lives for the better. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Frood, sisters Lorraine and Marguerite, her brother-in-law Clifford, daughter-in-law Mary Angela, her brother, Pete. Her viewing will be at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 6-9 pm with a wake service beginning at 8 pm. A celebration of her life will be 11 am on Monday August 5, 2013 at Saint Rita Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Dr., Wellington, FL. and burial following at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068.
