George Sudlow

George Jay Sudlow met his Savior on December 12, 2020 from COVID-related symptoms, in West Palm Beach, FL. He was born April 6, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, to George H. and Marjorie E. Sudlow. George grew up, along with his 5 siblings, in the Mount Airy section and spent summers in Bay Head, NJ. He graduated from Penn Charter in 1950, served two years in the US Army (1953-1955), and earned a bachelors' degree from Temple University. George was a man known for his robust faith and warm spirit. He enjoyed being the life of the party when seated at the piano and his positive and infectious attitude will be missed by all who knew him. George was predeceased by his parents, his sister Phyllis, and his beloved wife Barbara. He is survived by his sisters: Marjorie, Eleanor, and Geraldine, his brother Richard, 3 children (with his first wife Marilyn Bonner): Pamela (James) Shikuzawa of Martinez, CA, Alyssa (David) Reed of Zionsville, PA, and Daniel (Suzan) Sudlow of Cary, NC, and 6 grandchildren: Katherine, Rachel, Samantha, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Adam. There are no immediate plans for a memorial service, but he will be buried alongside his wife Barbara in West Virginia.
