George Frank Stossell, 77, of Lake Worth, FL passed away Monday, November 2, 2020. He was born to Lee and Dorothea Stossell in Buffalo, NY on May 5, 1943. He is survived by his devoted love of 5 years, Lynne Teich, three children: Steven of Olney, MD, Michael of Laurel, MD, and Lee-Anne of San Marcos, CA, sister, Mary Lee Parrington of Kiawah, SC, and three grandchildren: Sydney, Michael, and CJ Stossell. George was predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years, Sandra, and his parents. He was blessed with a large family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and Lynne's family, who all loved him dearly. George was a proud Air Force veteran that led he and Sandra to begin married life stationed in Japan for 2 years. Upon return from Japan, they moved to Northern Virginia to start his career and their family. They eventually settled in Maryland and built a beautiful vacation home in Deep Creek Lake, MD to enjoy with their family. George enjoyed a highly successful career in Technology Sales, selling some of the earliest models of super computers and servers to the Federal Government. He won several awards including 1988 Manager of the Year at Timeplex and was honored by Timeplex's President's Club 1988-1990. In 1999, George's work at Global Marine led he and Sandra to relocate to South Florida where he eventually retired to a life of tennis and making new friends. Due to current global circumstances, a formal service has been postponed. His life will be celebrated at Deep Creek Lake, MD at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407, or the American Cancer Society.
