George Kovatch

George Kovatch, 84, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2008. Born in Wilpen, PA, he was the first child of John & Helen (Fedorkey) Kovatch. As a track star in high school, he won all city and all state. After he married his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Hudson, in 1946, he worked as legal counsel for the Detroit Housing Commission. George loved to cruise the world & jitterbug the night away with his beautiful Phyllis. George leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Phyllis, his daughter Kathleen (Doug) Phillips, his son, George J. Kovatch, sister, Mary Irene Tobolski, 2 grandchildren, Paige (Brian) Bouma & Derek (Missy) Phillips, and soon to be great granddaughter Madison Phillips. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George?s name to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL. 33407 A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, at Palms West Funeral Home, from 4 ? 8 pm, with a service starting at 7:30 pm. Burial will be the following day.
