George Kenneth "Kenny" Beasley, age 76, of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on October 3rd, 2012 at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Kenny was born on March 30th, 1936 in Double Springs, Alabama. Richard and Louvada (Pope) Beasley were blessed to have six children with Kenny being the fourth. He married his wife of 56 years, Diana (Burk) on July 22nd, 1956 in Miami, Florida. Kenny graduated from Winston County High School in 1954 where he played football for four years and served as the Senior Class President. Moving to Miami, Florida in 1955, he worked in the trucking and freight industry and was a Teamster for 30 years before retiring in 1996. For over 10 years Kenny was an active member of Carol City Optimist Club where he coached baseball and football. He also served as club president and received a lifetime membership from Optimist International for his dedication. During his retirement years, he became an ebay entrepreneur and enjoyed the thrill of finding treasures at local auctions. Kenny moved to West Palm Beach in 1998 where he enjoyed a hot cup of coffee while watching the birds on his birdfeeder. Kenny is survived by his wife Diana and four children Kim, John, Mark and Tom. He has 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Kenny also leaves his older sister Helen (Brewer) and younger brother Coy.
