Geeta Ramesh Sharma

Geeta Ramesh Sharma took her journey to the heavenly abode at the age of 77, on the evening of September 3, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the Late Ramesh Lalchand Sharma, Daughter of the Late Shree Jethanand Jetley and Shrimati Chandra Jetley. Daughter-in-law of Shree Lalchand Sharma and Shrimati Kamala Sharma. Beloved mother, she is survived by her four daughters Harsha (Sunil), Manju (Niyukt), Varsha (Chris) Namrita (Jeff) Sharma and her six grandchildren, Neil, Ruchi, Sasha, Ria, Leeam and Divi who dearly loved their Nani as well as Astro and Romeo. The most devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she lived her life with never-ending faith, strength, and love. Highly-admired and respected by her siblings, Narendra, Jaishree, Bhupendra, Sangeeta, Shailander and family. She earned her college degree in Bhopal, India in the early 60's. Her love of science and especially botany will never be forgotten. Her daily activities were done meticulously. She taught her family to be fearless, never giving up or giving-in, in challenging times. A happy, thoughtful pioneer in her own-right, she accepted every challenge with grace and dignity. Her impeccable taste stood out in everything she did. Blessed with many talents, her cooking is one that will be talked about for generations to come. Devi Annapurna, the goddess of nourishment was a title given to her by our beloved Dad and those who had the privilege to devour her finger-liciking creations. A fierce entrepreneur, her business acumen came naturally and led to many happy transactions. Geetaji is a force that will never be diminished. Her presence is felt by her family in, every moment. Her warm smile, gentle touch and confident voice will be supremely missed. However, she is now, hand-in-hand with her husband of 59-years, the love of her life. Together they have ascended to the Almighty and are lovingly gazing at each other and those who are looking up to them. Our Mom and Dad are an eternal pair who live in our hearts and will be loved, forever.
