Gary L Weiss

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L Weiss, age 65. Gary passed away Monday, January 27 in Pensacola, Florida. He was born in New York on August 3, 1959 to David B and Eleanor Linden Weiss. His family moved to Royal Palm Beach, Florida in 1972 where he grew up, completed his education, and started his career as a firefighter. Throughout his career, he served as a lieutenant, assistant fire chief, and fire chief. Gary loved his family and his career. He enjoyed watching hockey and football and spending time with family. He is preceeded in death by his father David Weiss. He is survived by his mother Eleanor Linden, Weiss, sister Shari Bierman, brother-in-law Bobby Bierman, nieces Lindsay Taff (Jason), Melissa Brown (Nolan), as well as much loved extended family. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Gary's honor to Palm Beach County Retired Fire Fighters and American Diabetes Association.
