Gary Frederick Avey

We regretfully announce the passing of Gary F. Avey, who passed away surrounded by his loved ones on March 2, 2024. Gary is survived by his wife Christine, son Adam, grandson Grayson; sister-in-laws Kathlene and Nancy; nieces Laurie (Stuart), Karly (Dale), and Mackenzie (Spencer); nephew Michael (Rebecca); and great-nephews Xander, Xayne, Joel, and Xavien; several cousins out of state and his cats, Smokey and Milo. Gary was a long-time resident of West Palm Beach, where he was a proud General Contractor and enjoyed his time outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and competition shooting. Gary would do anything for his friends, family, and community. Gary made everyone laugh and cry at all the stories he shared. Our family is grateful that Gary is finally at peace with his creator. Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on March 16th, 2024, between 1 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida. https://wildlifeflorida.org
