Gardner L. Carney Jr.

Gardner L. Carney Jr., known to friends as "Les," passed away on November 5, 2017 at the age of 79 years surrounded by family. He was an avid New England sports fan, loved golfing, tennis, basketball, cribbage and trivia. His family vacationed in Wells Beach, Maine for many years and he passed the love of the ocean to his children. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy (D'Amore) Carney, daughters Deborah Craig of Massachusetts, Barbara Carney, Elizabeth Pasquale and Patricia Beke of Florida; Brother of Judith LaChance of Massachusetts, Walter Carney of Florida; and the late Irene Wilson; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews. On Monday, November 13, there will be a memorial gathering at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL from 1:30-2:00pm and a memorial service following from 2:00-3:00 pm.
