There isn't a person on this earth that doesn't love or have an unkind word to say about Tom. He was a very special, hard working, caring, and compassionate person, who loved being around family and friends. A person who always went with the flow. Born of Italian immigrants, Salvatore and Angelina Scaccianoce, September 26th, 1920. On the lower East side of Manhattan New York. They moved to Carnasie Brooklyn, where he spent most of his youth. He even auditioned to be one of the Bowery boy kid's. Sadly he was not chosen, this upset him.. He enlisted in the army, and was assigned the position of Military Police. Which was a joke in itself, because he was just too nice to arrest anyone. After his discharge from the army, he met his wife, Martha De Luca, of 67 years. Together they had 2 children , Bernadette and Thomas. His employment as a Maintenance Supervisor for a Cruise ship line started them on their journey to explore many countries around the world. They were very passionate about traveling. Hating the cold and loving the sun and beach they relocated from Brooklyn, NY to West Palm beach Florida, where they explored every inch of the state. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, at the age of 75 years old he battled this disease, never complained nor felt sorry for himself. At age 92 years old Parkinson's won. And the world lost a great man. We will miss him dearly but the memory of him will remain in our hearts for ever. Rest in Peace.
