Gaetano "Tom" Loglisci, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to many, passed away peacefully at his home in Wellington, FL, on March 26, 2021 3 weeks short of his 93rd birthday. Tom was born in New York, NY to Immigrant Italian parents, with two brothers and a sister. After graduating from high school, he was drafted into the Army serving in the Korean War for two years. Upon return, he entered the banking industry. Tom retired in 1991 after 35 years as an Assistant Vice President. In his retirement, Tom and his wife Mae, relocated to Florida where they enjoyed being very active in their local community and church. He loved winning at playing cards, socializing with friends, volunteering at his church and quiet time reading. Tom loved his wife of 64 years, Domenica "Mae" (DeLeo) Loglisci, his children Maria (Dale) Pickford of Wellington, FL, Lisa (Robert) Schroeder of Simsbury, CT and Vincent (Nancy) of Melbourne Beach, FL. His grandchildren: Elizabeth (Devin) Noblin, Stephanie Schroeder, Steven Schroeder, Kyle Pickford and Ashley Pickford, and great granddaughter Gabriella Noblin were the sparkle of his life. He never wanted to miss an opportunity to enjoy them with Mae. He loved his and Mae's large extended family and circle of friends. Visitation will be 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Monday March 29 at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 30th, 11:00 am. at St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church. A committal service will take place at the South Florida National Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
