Frauntz Clayton Hudson

Frauntz Clayton Hudson of Royal Palm Beach, Florida passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 83, after several months of declining health. Frauntz died peacefully at Hospice in Palm Beach Gardens. Frauntz was born in Nitro, West Virginia in November 1936, to Reverend Harold and Dorothy Hudson. He grew up with his 5 siblings, Chuck Hudson (deceased), Don Hudson, Carol "Sissy" Hudson (deceased), Zella Armstrong and Barbara McClanahan. After graduating from Nitro High School, Frauntz served in the United States Army from September 1960-1962. He received an Honorable Discharge. He was stationed in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Frauntz was a Radio T T Operator and received a good conduct medal. On December 26, 1961, Frauntz married the love of his life, Elizabeth "Libby" Kirk. They have been married almost 59 years. Frauntz and Libby had 2 children, Beverly Stadnick and Paige McCann. In 1970, Frauntz and his family moved to Palm Beach County, Florida. Frauntz worked and after many years eventually retired from the Ocean Towers in Palm Beach. He loved his job and the people he met. Frauntz loved his devoted wife, children and grandchildren. He was often referred to as "Poppy" by everyone. Frauntz was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Harold and Dorothy Hudson, brother Chuck Hudson and sister Carol Hudson. He is survived by his wife, Libby Hudson, his brother Don Hudson (Beverly) and sisters, Zella Armstrong and Barbara McCalanahan (Billy); his daughters Beverly Stadnick (Robby) and Paige McCann, five grandchildren John Michael Brown, Brandon Brown, Amanda Brown, Tyler McCann and Kylie McCann and his nieces and nephews.
