Frank C. Valenti

Frank C. Valenti, age 90 passed away Monday, December 8 in Lake Worth, Florida. Frank was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 29th, 1935 to the late Carmen (Chick) Valenti and Margaret Koch. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy from 1952-1956. Frank was a beloved husband to Ida Stamation. They were lifelong companions, married for 66 years and blessed with their only child, Jeffrey Frank Valenti. Frank proudly served on the NYPD as both a Police Officer and Homicide Detective for 25 years. Though it was a difficult job, Frank dedicated his life to helping others throughout his career.If he wasn't a cop he would have been a Veterinarian. There was never a stray or injured animal left behind. After retirement, Frank and Ida moved to Florida, where they enjoyed many years of travel and enjoying life to the fullest. Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Ida; his son, Jeffrey (Judy Valenti) ; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Ria Valenti), Alex (Angela Valenti), and Bridgette. He took great joy in the life he had with his family. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home Sunday, December 21st, 5:00 pm--8:00 pm, continuing Monday, December 22nd, 9:00 am. A service will be held Monday, December 22nd at 9:30 am with a graveside service to follow 10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
