Frank Anthony Pagán 1970 – 2020 Frank Anthony Pagán, age 50, was freed from the chains of addiction by our Lord Jesus Christ on April 20, 2020. Known as Anthony to his family, he was born in Brooklyn, New York to Gloria Ortega and Efraín Pagán on March 7, 1970. A resident of New York for most of his life, Anthony spent his last few years in South Florida before departing this world to be with our Lord. Those fortunate enough to truly know Anthony knew a man with a big heart and playful spirit. His smile lit up the room and he was happiest making family and friends laugh. He loved cooking, fishing, all things Puerto Rican, all things New York (especially the Yankees), shooting pool, and, most of all, being with family. Anthony made friends easily and was generous to all, especially those less fortunate. His family deeply loved him and tried everything to help him as he struggled with his illness. Though they will forever feel the loss and emptiness of his absence, they are consoled by cherished memories and the knowledge he is now at peace. Anthony was preceded in death by his father, his aunt Lydia Ortega, and his beloved grandmother Ana Ortega. He leaves behind his devoted mother, his loving daughter Priscilla Pagán (Daniel Piña) and his three beautiful granddaughters Alyssa, Sofia, and Elena. He is also survived by Priscilla's mother Julissa Rivera; his sisters Denise Bassaline (Peter), Jeanette Pagán, and Kian-Nicole Torres (Allan); his aunts Nilda Laureano, Paula Black and María Ortega; and numerous cousins and other family members. A private service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at a future date.
