Frank George Kosky, 77, of Greenacres, FL, passed away at his daughter's home, surrounded by his loving wife and family, on September 30, 2017, after a long and brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alison; son, Frankie (Endicott, NY); daughter, Sheri Renee, son-in-law, Jimmy, and Granddaughters, Victoria Rose and Brianna Nicole Liantonio (Wellington, FL); brother, Robert and sister-in-law Pam, nephews Lawrence and Robert (Saratoga Springs, NY); and two step-sons, Tyler (Watkins Glen, NY) and Austin Moore (MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL). Frank was born in Yonkers, NY, on September 23, 1940, and is the son of the late Frank J. Zajkowski and Rose Costa. He graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY, and he earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked for IBM in Endicott, NY, for 32 years as an Electrical Engineer, and later transferred to Lockheed Martin in Owego, NY, where he retired. Frank was very active in his Community. He served on the Master Board as well as his Condo Board. He and Alison taught line dancing weekly at the Club House for several years where the residents enjoyed an hour of fun and movement. They bowled on the Community team, of which he was one of the highest scorers – very competitive but in such a "sweet" way which was his nature. He loved to golf and played frequent rounds with family and friends – particularly his son-in-law Jimmy. They were members of the Corvette Club of the Palm Beaches for many, many years and enjoyed all of the meetings, dinners, outings, road rallies, car shows, etc. Each and every member of the Club were their dear friends. Frank was a sports enthusiast and just loved to kick back and enjoy watching a good game of football, golf, and NASCAR, or any other sport he found by "surfing" on the TV. He loved going to the shooting range with his "best buddy". Gardening was a passion and he would spend hours out in the sweltering heat planting flowers – particularly roses. However, his love for family and especially his granddaughters, Victoria & Brianna, were his passion. He cherished his time with all of us. Arrangements are being handled by Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach. The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 15 from 12:00 p.m. (gathering); 1:00 p.m. (service). In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Frank's memory can be made to Trustbridge Hospice, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL, 33407.
