Frank Anthony Bianchini

Frank Anthony Bianchini "Beke", 88, of Gulfstream, FL, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded as he always was, with family, on Friday, December 17, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 29, 1922, he was one of 12 children of Santo and Jean (D'Orio) Bianchini. Frank was a WWII veteran having fought in the Pacific with the 544th Engineers Boat and Shore Regiment. Beke spent most of his life working in partnerships with his 6 brothers, first under S. Bianchini and Sons, then in 1960 Frank along with his brothers Sam and Michael founded Melrose Waterproofing as it continues on today into its 4th generation. Having moved to Florida in 1970, Frank made the natural transition into developer/builder under the name Diamond B Developers, creating Equestrian theme communities such as Olde Bridge Run in the Davie area. Being a man of action, Frank loved his golf, cards and racetrack. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all. Frank's memory will be cherished by the only love of his life, Rita his wife of nearly 65 years; children, Frank Bianchini and Michael (Marie) Bianchini; grandchildren, Aimee, Jason, Gabriella, Alessandra and Gianni; and great granddaughters, Bianca, Gianna, Livia and Angelina. A visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Palms West Funeral Home. Frank will be buried with military honors 11 Am, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 10941 Southern Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
