MORENO, FRANCISCO "PANCHE" Francisco "Panche" Moreno, 93 of Boynton Beach died June 19, 2014. He was born in Artemisa, Cuba where he had worked in the sugar industry and arrived in the United States in 1961 with his wife Maria Bolumen-Moreno and his three children Marietta, Francisco B., and Javier. He raised his family in Pawtucket, Rhode Island where he became Treasurer and later President of the Cuban Club of Rhode Island. The family moved to Florida where he returned to the sugar industry and retired from Atlantic Sugar Association in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, three children, brother Luis M. (Iraida), Rodolfo (Matilde), sister Conchita Moreno, sister-in-laws Virginia Moreno, Sara Lopez, Teresa Hernandez, grandchildren Rebecca, Jessica, and Veronica, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many dear friends. A visitation will be held 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Palms West Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Following visitation, a Mass of the Resurrection will be held 1:00 PM at St. Rita Catholic Church. Francisco will then be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
