Florence C. Werkle

Florence C. Werkle, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on March 10, 2013 at the age of 92. Formerly of Brooklyn, and Uniondale, NY. Florence worked for Federated Department stores for over 35 years. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed volunteer work. Beloved wife of, Arthur Werkle, Sr. for 70 years, mother of: Alice (William) Rossi, Barbara (Philip) McDonnell, Arthur (Joan) Werkle, Jr., grandmother of: Diane, Laura, Jennifer, Allyson, Janice, Matthew, Carlene, Stephen, Caryn, Stefanie, great-grandmother of 14, and sister of Charles Covucci. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St Rita Catholic Church on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:15 AM . Burial will follow at South Florida National Cemetery.
