Flora T. Sidoti

Flora Sidoti, 98 passed away on May 2, 2023. She was with her loving daughter, Lucille, at the hospital. Flora loved family so very much. She had an extended family with the people who assisted her in Harbor Chase Assisted Living Facility. Prior to Assisted living, Flora loved walking, singing and casino trips. She was called the "Lucky Lady" not only in Florida, but also in her previous home in Toms River, New Jersey. She was a very active visitor to Atlantic City, especially the Showboat Hotel and Casino. She frequently won large jackpots, to the amusement of her family who cheered her on! Not only casino winnings, but lottery scratch offs as well. Needless to say, her husband did not relish going to the casino, but he did to make her happy if she would then go with him to the track. Her husband, Joseph passed away seventeen years ago. Because of loneliness, her daughter Lucille and Son in law David asked her to come to Florida to live near them. She lived in Florida for almost thirteen years. Flora was asked to go to Vegas with Lucille and David, and she gladly said yes. We were surprised as she did not like to fly! She had a great time and won big!!! She would constantly ask to go back to Vegas, so we took her a second time. Her constant conversation would be, when are we going again? Flora's beloved children are Lucille, (David), Anthony (June), and Linda (Thomas). Flora was blessed with her grandchildren: Andrea, Christopher, Taylor, AJ, Joseph, Krysta and great-grandchildren: Ryan, Emma, Serafina, and Amelia. A memorial service is Saturday, May 6, 2023, 4:30 pm at Palms West Funeral Home with friends to begin arriving at 3:30 pm.
