Felix (Raymond) Angelis Kempadoo, 85, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026
Raymond was born on August 4, 1941, in Port Mourant, Berbice, Guyana, to Kenneth and Evelyn Kempadoo. He spent his early years in Guyana, where he worked at the Rice Marketing Board in Black Bush Polder. After relocating to the United States, Raymond worked at Citibank as a manager in investigations. He later moved to Boynton Beach, Florida, where he enjoyed his retirement.
Raymond was a man of many passions and talents. He loved to cook and took great pride in sharing his recipes with his children. His “Beef Curry and Pepperpot” were especially well known and loved by his family. He was naturally curious and enjoyed learning, creating, and finding ways to innovate and complete projects on his own. He had a keen interest in the latest technology and a deep passion for every vehicle he owned.
Raymond also loved bringing people together. Whenever there was a party or celebration, he made sure everyone was having a great time. He could often be found dancing and singing, sharing his happiness and bringing joy to those around him. He especially loved his grandchildren and never failed to bring them special treats, a simple gesture that reflected his generous and loving nature.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Jean; his children, Randolph, Brian, and Sharon, and their spouses, Cherryann, Julie, and Wendell; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley, Johnathan, Sean, and Aaliyah; and his two great-grandchildren, Rhys and Eliza.
His memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly, the traditions he passed down, and the many moments of laughter, love, and happiness he shared with those around him.
A memorial service will be held on September 20, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Palms West Funeral Home & Crematory.
