Beloved Granny, Fabiola "Jackie" Kushner, aged 70, left this world on June 14, 2023. She passed at home following a valiant fight against her illness. Born in Baranquilla, Colombia to Luis and Lucrecia Garcia, she was one of 11 children. At the age of 14, she embarked on the grand adventure of moving to the States. She graduated from James Madison High School in New York City and explored coursework in graphic design through Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. Empathetic, friendly and hard working, her every interaction was characterized as respectful and compassionate. Her best qualities shone through in her work as a caregiver and home health aide. She also worked in photo processing, the culinary arts, and printing. She loved to laugh and told a story with her eyes. A seat at the tertulia table will always be saved for her and hearing happy birthday sung will never be the same without her impressive vibrato. She will remain in our hearts forever. Survived by her adoring husband Richard, daughters Victoria (Joshua) and Jennifer (Wilmar), grandchildren (Cxayu Lucero, Maxon, Ethan and Uma) and 7 siblings (Gabriel, Rogelio, Ricardo, Camilo, Adriana, Carol and Victor Hugo). "See You At The Beach" A celebration of life will be held on July 1 at 3 pm at Palms West Funeral Home (110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL). The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society. .
