Eugene Paul Pasquale, age 88, was born June 30,1937 in Youngstown, Ohio. Eugene passed away peacefully in Wellington, Florida on Tuesday morning, December 23rd, 2025.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Pasquale and Angiolina Pasquale (DiTomasso), who resided in Youngstown, Ohio; his sister Emma Damiano (Frank); and his brother Albert Pasquale (Florence). He is survived by his sister Charlene Franceschelli (Louis), who resides in Poland, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eugene was a proud graduate of Youngstown’s Wilson High School where he was a multisport star athlete and went on to serve honorably in the United States Marine Corps as a machine gunner, including a combat deployment in Lebanon. Eugene’s service as a Marine exemplified his values of patriotism, discipline, and honor, and his commitment to his country.

Eugene was the beloved husband of Delia Ann Pasquale (Santangelo) who became his wife on September 23rd, 1961.

Following his military service, Eugene returned to Youngstown and began work in the private sector including management positions at Republic Steel, Youngstown Sheet & Tube and General Motors’ Lordstown, Ohio facility. In 1983 Eugene became a successful entrepreneur as the owner of Pasquale’s Quick Stop, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his community.

Eugene and his family made their home in Poland, Ohio, where he and Delia devoted themselves to raising their family and building a life rooted in faith and hard work. In 1994, he and Delia relocated to Boca Raton, Florida and later Wellington, Florida, where they continued to live with the same values that guided them throughout their lives.

A man of deep and unwavering Catholic faith, including service with the Knights of Columbus, Eugene lived by strong moral principles and held his faith close to his heart. Above all else, he was a devoted family man. His family was his greatest love and lifelong devotion.

Eugene was the beloved husband of Delia Ann Pasquale. He was a proud and loving father to his three daughters: Kim Granitto (Chris), Jodi Granitto (Garret), and Tracy Friend (David).

Eugene was a cherished grandfather to Brittani Verhoeven (Dain) and Brandon Granitto, children of Kim and Chris; Shawn Granitto (Janelle), Nicole Granitto, Megan Strzelecki (Joe), and Briana Granitto, children of Jodi and Garret; Steven Friend and Zachary Friend, children of Tracy and David. He was also blessed with four great grandchildren Giulia, Luca, Reagan, and Matteo, who brought him great joy and two additional great grandchildren on the way.

Eugene will be remembered for his unwavering faith, devotion to family, service to his country, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His legacy of faith, love, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

To honor Eugene’s life, visiting hours will be held at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory in Royal Palm Beach, Florida starting at 4:00pm with a prayer service and vigil starting at 6pm on Sunday, January 4, 2026. A funeral service and mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Saint Rita’s Catholic Church in Wellington, Florida followed by entombment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
