Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalm 116:15 Ethline Gardiner Rigsby was born March 3, 1942 in Hanover, Jamaica, to Louise Mitchell Robinson and Japheth Drummond who both predeceased her. She was the third of ten children of her mother. Ethline received her formal education at Kendal, Cave Valley, and Kingsvale Schools in Jamaica, and after graduation sought and gained employment in Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica respectively, where she resided and worked for a number of years until she migrated to the Bahamas. In her quest for a better life for herself and her kids, Ethline migrated to the United States of America where she resided until her passing on the 2nd October 2021. Ethline passion was caregiving, and so she qualified herself as a Certified Nursing Assistant and passionately and lovingly cared for her patients for a number of years until the COVID pandemic in 2020. Another of her passion was shopping. She loved it so much that she bought a house in a community across from the mall where she would have easy access to facilitate her shopping spree. Ethline was an amazing cook who enjoyed feeding those who visited her home. If she knew there was something special that they liked she would not hesitate to have it ready when they arrive. Anyone who knew Ethline can attest that she was a giving person. When she gave, she gave only best that she could afford. She has no doubt left a lasting impression on the lives of those she touched. On October 2, 2021, Ethline was called home to her heavenly father. Her memories will always be cherished in the hearts of her beloved children, Julett Samuels (Baston), Jennifer Mincy (Dylan), Marie Watson, Shawn Watson (Delise-Ann), Alfred Cooper (Althea), and Marvin Gardiner. Grandchildren, Dave Kerr, Daryl Mincy, Tabitha Mincy, Dale Samuels, Darran Daley, Danielle Findlay, Mark Watson Jr., Brittany Warren, Demi Samuels, Chad Watson, Shaneave Watson, and Serena Cooper.
