Esther Rodriguez

Esther Rodriguez died peacefully on January 8, 2014 at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. She was born in Puerto Rico, October 1, 1923, raised in New York City, lived in Washington Township, New Jersey and moved to Delray Beach, Florida where she resided for the last 26 years. She was the adored wife of George Rodriguez who passed away in August 2013. Esther leaves behind her beloved children, daughter Janice and her partner William, her son George Jr. and daughter-in- law Judith, her daughter Kathy and her granddaughter Dana and her husband Jeffrey. Esther was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She loved to cook and expressed her love through the many delicious meals prepared for family gatherings. She also loved to sew and decorated her home with her many creations. She loved music and dancing and ensured that her children and granddaughter developed a love for those things as well. Esther loved numbers and worked as a bookkeeper for many years before retiring to Florida. She will be remembered as a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
