Laughter
By Esmie Neufville
Oh, give me the medicine of laughter,
Which injects the brain to share rejuvenation,
It brightens the soul to higher heights,
It unlocks the key to stressful intensity,
Oh, what a serum we release!
When first we practice our laughter,
Bellow those joyful echoes loud and clear,
In the long run you'll reap,
The joy of a laughter without fear,
Don't be put down by your peers,
And never hold in the natural medicine of life,
One would say, "A laughter a day, sure can keep the doctor away,"
So, practice with gusto and pride
And incorporate this phenomenon in all its stages
Smile when you greet your loved ones,
Laugh when there is good humour around
Put away all false pride,
And burst, burst, with share ecstasy,
Giggle when the occasion arises,
Remember those childish pranks,
And remember to laugh all by yourself,
And never divulge your utmost secrets.
