Ernestine C Hicks

Our Beloved Ernestine (Tina) Carolyn Hicks, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, best friend to so many, and truly a gift from God was born on August 21, 1941, to Ernest and Hattie M. Hicks in Yonkers, NY. Tina, graduated from Commerce High School, Yonkers! NY, and attended Hampton University, Hampton, VA. Tina, was employed by Con Edison Queens NY, as Assistant Director of Human Resources, and later retired and relocated to Royal Palm Beach Florida. Family and Friends and loyalty were very important to Tina. Her winning smile and deep dimples would light up a room. Although at times she didn't know if She wanted to have blonde or fashionably "blue" hair. She enjoyed working with the Special Needs Children at Grace Fellowship, where she was a member. Attending Sunday School and Women's Bible classes on Tuesdays helped her to stay focused to keep her mind off her illnesses. Tina earned her Wings and now she can peacefully join. her Grandparents, Parents, Sister, Niece other relatives, and friends in Heaven. Tina, leaves behind to cherish her memory, Son Randall, Sister Judith (Frank) Nieces Kim, Melissa (Walter), great nieces and nephews, cousins and a Host of extended Family and Friends. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Friday, September 8th , 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Service to take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at Grace Fellowship Church with a viewing at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow.
