Ercilio "Osiris" Nunez, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born in the Dominican Republic, Osiris later immigrated to New York and eventually settled in New Jersey. He had a passion for working with his hands and a love for technology, which led him to a fulfilling early career in television and radio repair. He later moved to Florida, where he worked as an electrical engineer until his retirement. Osiris was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria "Fina" Nunez; his children Jacquie (Robert) Mika, Karen (Frank) Bruno, Jenisa (Carlos) Leon, and Maury (Angie) Nunez; his cherished grandchildren Ryan, Andrew, Matthew, Keana, Spencer, Kierstin, Natalie, Elisa, Makayla, and Alani; and his great-grandchildren Milo and Mercy. Osiris will be remembered for his quiet strength, deep love for his family, and his lifelong curiosity and ingenuity. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family who loved him dearly. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church 2892 S. Congress Avenue, Palm Springs, FL 33461. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM.
