Dr. Ena Melba Veguez La Torre

Dr. Ena Melba Veguez La Torre Dr. Veguez passed away peacefully on Sunday,September 25, 2016.She was born on November 25, 1923 in Santiago , Cuba.She came to the United States after graduating from Colegio Medico National de la Habana on June 26,1949.Dr Veguez specialty was pediatric medicine.She was Head of Pediatric Unit in Brooklyn Hospital in New York. She also had a private practice. She will join her mother Aurora Veguez and her husband Dr.Jack La Torre in heaven. Ena leaves behind her brother Jose Veguez, sister - in - law Gudelia Veguez, niece Lorraine Ranta , Peter Ranta, grandnephew Nicholas and Zachary Ranta, niece Elizabeth Gato, Paul Gato and grandnephew Anthony Gato, nephew Steven Veguez, Anna Veguez, Brianna and CJ Veguez. She will truly be missed.
