Emily Rosalia Caronia

Emily Caronia, 90 passed away on December 1, 2019 at Trustbridge Hospice. She was the wife/widow of Mercurio "Mac" Caronia. They were married for 67 beautiful years at the time of his passing in 2016. Born in Brooklyn, New York she was the daughter of Vito and Angela Galatioto of Palermo, Italy. Emily worked as a School Crossing Guard at the Malverne, Police Department on Long Island, NY for 25 years. Emily and Mac moved to West Palm Beach, Florida 15 years ago. They were very active in there community and as parishioners at Our Lady Queen of the Apostle, Royal Palm Beach, FL. Emily was a kind, loving, and helpful person with an outgoing personality. She will be longed remembered as the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her children, son Tom, daughter Angela, and son in law John, grandchildren, Laura (Mike), Lisa, Tyler, Austen and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Mason, Brandon and Giordanni. Funeral services are will be held on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 from 1 - 4pm at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Church services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 11:00am at Our Lady Queen of the Apostle, 110 Crestwood Blvd S, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Burial immediately following at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 FL State Road 7, Lake Worth FL 33449.
