Elza D. Ladouceur

Elza Dominque Ladouceur was born on August 3, 1930 to Valencia and Thelamour Antoine in beautiful Jacmel, Haiti. She was one of five siblings and married Danaus D. Ladouceur. Elza had a passion for sewing and was a seamstress as a young adult. Mama (Elza) raised five children, and took pride in making sure her children received a good education. She also was an active member of Hebron Seventh Day Adventist Church as a Deaconess and Choir member. Mama was always so proud to say that none of her children got into any trouble throughout their lives. She did an amazing job keeping five children in line during trying times. She traveled from Haiti to New York with five children in 1967 and not one of her children was left behind, including her step-daughter, she would not have it any other way. "I love you all over body" was her favorite phrase and we love her all over her body in the same way. Mama had a look she gave you and you knew right away what she meant, and at the same time she had a heart of gold. Mama was a very wise woman. She always thought before she leapt, and she leaped, quietly. She worked one job, for 35 years, at Cupid Diaper service and honored multiple times throughout her tenure as a valued employee. Elza loved the Lord and used every opportunity to witness for him. Her favorite bible verses were Psalms 23 and Psalms 91. Her family includes: Husband- Danaus D. Ladouceur Sister - Mariella Antoine Fleurantin and children Sister - Theresa Antoine-Voight and son Sister - Sylvanna Antoine (Deceased) Sister - Dieudonne Antoine, children, and a host of nieces and nephews Daughter - Marie Yolene Beaubrun (Kenel) Son- Col. Berthony Ladouceur (Col. Gina) Daughter- Elsie Ladouceur-Cine (Pierre Andre) Son- SSgt. Yves D. Ladouceur (Tu-Bee-Tow) Daughter - Carole Jenkins (Joseph) Niece- Laudz Fleurantin-Colon Step Daughter - Solange Milien (Leclerc) and children Grandson- Kenel Beaubrun II (Sharn) Grandson - Berthony Dee Ladouceur Grandson - Robert Andre Ladouceur (Marcy) Granddaughter - Keisha Beaubrun Granddaughter- Tikha Jenkins Granddaughter - Shamika Elza Beaubrun Grandson- Jonathan Ken Beaubrun Grandson - Spec IV Christopher Jenkins II Granddaughter - Lauren Nicole Ladouceur Great Granddaughter - Preciouse Beaubrun Great Grandson - Kenel Beaubrun III Great Granddaughter - Isis Ambroise Great Granddaughter - Dajiah Anderson Great Grandson - Kodi Beaubrun Great Grandson - Mekhi Beaubrun Great Granddaughter- Jayna Smith Great Grandson -John William Smith IV Great Granddaughter - Brooke Mongo Great Granddaughter - Nevaeh Beaubrun Great Grandson - Kason Beaubrun Great Granddaughter - Laila Ladouceur Great Granddaughter - Kayla Ladouceur Great Grandson - Micah Ladouceur (Deceased) and a host of nieces and nephews.
