Elva Batista Alvarez

Elva B. Alvarez Age 75 of Wellington, Fl. passed away May 13, 2010. Elva was born in Puerto Rico on 6-22-34 to Beatrice and Juan Batista. She was raised in NY and moved to Fl in 1975. She is survived by her husband, John, and their children, Cindy (Tom) Diemer of Lady Lake, FL, Rita (Robert) Libonati and Audrey (Larry) Mayernik of Wellington, FL, Sam Alvarez of Winterville, GA. She was pre-deceased by her son John Jr., brother, Julio, and her parents. She has seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She fought a courageous battle against cancer surrounded by the love and care of family and friends but God's will prevailed. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. – 2:30 P.M. with a funeral service at 2:30 P.M. at Palms West Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Elva's name to Hospice of Palm Beach, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407
