Elsie Beharrylal

Elsie Beharrylal passed away peacefully at the age of 90. She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the United States in 1988. Elsie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to Balo Beharrylal for 34 years before his passing in 1979. Together they raised 6 children (Geetnarine, Nanpersad (deceased), Chandra, Barbara, Couselia, and Boysie). Elsie was known for her creative talents. From her beautiful singing voice to her freehand crafts, she expressed her bold, confident, and joyous personality throughout her entire life. Elsie was a mentor for a plethora of life skills and she was always willing to share her knowledge with those around her. She is survived by 5 of her children (Geetnarine, Chandra, Barbara, Couselia, and Boysie), 12 grandchildren (Anuradha, Ballkaran, Ravi, Roshan, Nalinee, Shandee, Shiloh, Hunter, Kavita, Grace, Joseph, and Amy) and 12 great-children (Navita, Shane, Dhanya, Dhanishwar, Matthew, Daniel, Kaliya, Aryana, Aaliyah, Adrian, Alex and Aria).
