Elizabeth Joanne Lomeli

Elizabeth Joanne Lawrence Lomeli Known to family and friends as BJ, she was born on July 20, 1956 in Rockledge, Florida and due to multiple increasing illnesses passed away on December 11, 2020 at home in West Palm Beach surrounded by family and her kitties. BJ graduated from Satellite High School in Satellite Beach Florida in 1974, as well as simultaneously earning an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration from Brevard Community College. In 1979, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida and received her degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After college BJ was an office manager for a power line contracting company for over 20 years. She then changed careers to become a certified nurse assistant. She trained for and acquired multiple certifications associated with her work as a rehabilitation aide and nursing assistant. BJ was married to Jose "Jaime" Lomeli on January 20, 1990 at the First Baptist church of Haverhill in West Palm Beach. She was preceded in death by her father Bernard Lawrence in 1992, her mother Margaret "Peggy" Lawrence in 2001 and her brother Dan Lawrence in 2003. She is survived by her husband of nearly 31 years Jose "Jamie" Lomeli, her three sisters Lou Plale, Barbara Temmesfeld (husband Art), and Cindy Evans (husband Tex) as well as 9 nephews, 1 niece and her favorite grandson Jeremy Alcock. Also special to BJ were Jaime's five siblings and their children, seven nieces and five nephews. Known as the favorite aunt, she was always engaging in fun activities with the kids including playing games from the closet-o-toys. She loved playing various games and spending time with her cats, always giving unconditional love to all. She will be missed but not forgotten.
