Elizabeth Ann DiGeronimo, known to her friends as 'Betty', passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on July 1, 2022. Betty was born on July 26, 1930, to Herbert and Mary Blessington. Betty married Anthony L DiGeronimo on July 4, 1953. Together they had four children Kathleen (Kathy), Thomas (Tommy), Paul and Marc, all born in Leominster, Massachusetts. Summers were always spent at the "beach" in New Hampshire, where family memories continue to be made. Betty had a great sense of humor and was a good conversationalist. She was a humble homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking; you never left her home without a great meal as she was a fabulous cook. Her spaghetti sauce was coveted by many. The past thirty years Betty spent her winters in Palm Beach Gardens in Florida where she became an enthusiastic golfer. She was an avid reader and enjoyed discussing, sharing and exchanging books with others. Betty was briefly married to Martin Campanella in January 1997. Martin passed away in 2012. Betty leaves behind her daughter Kathy and her family, Kara and son-in-law, Patrick Bell, and Great Grandchildren Connor and Brenna Bell. Lisa DiGeronimo (wife of Thomas, deceased 2010) and their children Lauren and her husband, Scott McEachron, and great grandson, Thomas Graeme McEachron, Jackie DiGeronimo and Sarah DiGeronimo. Her son Paul and wife Katharine. Her son Marc DiGeronimo, his wife Dawn and their children Toni and Bret. Niece Maura Young, nephew Michael Muir and their families. Numerous step children and great grandchildren in the Campanella family. Contributions can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or donors@stjude.org.
