Elizabeth Jane Benvenuti

Elizabeth Jane (Ward) Benvenuti, known as Betty, 71 and loving mother of 3, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2018 at her home in Loxahatchee, FL. She was born in Lynn, MA on May 21, 1946. She enjoyed crocheting, crosswords and playing cards. She was very active by going to the Senior Center daily and was also a very avid bingo player, both of which she made many new friends. Though she fought obesity for the majority of life time, she made the commitment and proudly lost over 200 lbs over the past few years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guido Peter "Ben" Benvenuti Jr to whom she was married to for 47 years and her granddaughter, Amanda Hanzlik. She is survived by her children Guido Peter III (Patty) Benvenuti of Conyers, GA, Treasa Marie (Paul) Hanzlik of Loxahatchee, FL and Lena Ann (Brent) Wiggers of Riverview, FL. Betty will be dearly missed, and fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Guido IV, Leanne, Alex, Emily, her family and many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday February 17, 2018 at 1:30pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 10941 Southern Boulevard, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
