Elizabeth Louise Barnes

Elizabeth L. (Bette) Barnes, 74, of Wellington, FL., passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008. Born November 23, 1933 in Pennsylvania, she was 13th and youngest child, of James and Anna (Cox) Curran. Coming from Cherry Hill, NJ., Bette has been a resident of Wellington since 1978. She was an avid bridge player and active in the community. Since her retirement from the real estate closing business, Bette has often volunteered her time to assist a number of worthy organizations and causes. Bette?s memory will be cherished by her son David Barnes; sisters, Mary Osgood of Phoenix, AZ, Grace Gibson of Stroudsburg, PA, Pat Boyd of Philadelphia, PA, and Agnes Hauer of Newtown Square, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bette was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth (Pete) and 8 of her brothers and sisters. There will be a memorial mass held 11 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington.
