Elfriede Carioto

Elfriede Carioto, 74, of Lake Worth, Florida went to be with God on May 16, 2013. Elfriede was born in Germany on February 1, 1939. She came to the United States when she was in her early twenty's. Here she married Frank A. Carioto. They raised their family in Loudonville until 1991 when they moved to Pompano Beach, Florida. She loved to keep busy ballroom dancing and she enjoyed her job as bookkeeper for Farmers Mart. She loved life and always tried to enjoy it to the fullest. Elfriede leaves behind her two daughters Suzanne Morrow of Wellington and Lori Shapiro of Royal Palm Beach. She also leaves her brothers Armin Strittmatter, Josef Strittmatter, Herbert Strittmatter and a sister Agnes Bamsch. She is predeceased by her husband Frank and her brother Eric Strittmatter. Elfriede will be missed by so many people. Elfriede also has five grandchildren Zoe, Chase, Quinn, Logan and Piper Morrow. She loved these kids more than anything and they loved her just as much. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 7-9 at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach. The service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
