Eleanor Joan Fread Dewinter

ELEANOR JOAN DeWINTER FREAD "Joan", age 81, passed away on March 30, 2011 after an extended illness. Formerly of Long Branch, NJ, she lovingly taught elementary school. After moving to West Palm Beach, FL in 1986 she continued to teach at Crestwood and Loxahatchee Elementary School. During her retirement years she volunteered at Loxahatchee and West Riviera elementary School. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her adoring husband, H. DeWitt Fread; five children, Chris Stillwell of Rutland, VT, Fread (Karen) of Bayview, NJ, Eric Stillwell (Analiza) of West Palm Beach, FL, Richard Fread of Tampa, FL, and Karen Whitmore (Ken) of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Amy and Kimberly of New Jersey, Billy, Tina (Steve), Chrissy (Rick), and Heather (Ricky) of Florida, as well as seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A private viewing will be held for family members and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Woman's Abuse Center, or Hospice of Palm Beach County.
