Elbert Larry Adams, 70, passed away peacefully from this world surrounded by his family on March 1, 2017 after a long battle with ALS. Larry was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Elbert and Agnes Adams. Larry was a very proud Marine who fought in the Vietnam War. After the Marine Corps. he spent his life in Sales being quite "the people person." He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, drinking red wine and smoking cigars. He was a fighter and fought to his very last breath. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Adams; five children Robert Adams (Sandra), StephanieSestito (Joseph), Nathan Adams, JonathanAdams (Talita), and Jewel Adams. He is further survived by his five Grandchildren IsabellaHernandez, Alexandra Adams, Anthony Adams, Gianna Sestito, and Ava Adams; and his brother Barry Adams (Beth). A funeral service will be held for Larry on Friday March 10, 2017 at St. David's Catholic Church at 10:00 am with a celebration of his life immediately following at the Church Reception Center. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS foundation in Larry's honor.
