Elaine T Hogarty

ELAINE TENNYSON HOGARTY, 85 years old of Wellington, FL, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by Donald, her husband of 37 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Elaine worked for J.P. Morgan & Co. prior to getting married at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan. She and her husband then moved first to Matawan, NJ and later to Durham, NH where they raised a daughter, Maryann and son, Charles. Elaine and her husband, Donald relocated finally in Wellington, FL just prior to the birth of their only grandchild, Lauren Alessandra Webb in 1999. Elaine was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, neighbor and friend who was always equally committed to her family and deep Catholic faith. In addition to her children and granddaughter, she leaves behind son in law Philip Webb, surviving brothers Thomas Tennyson (wife Gloria) and John Tennyson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her family will celebrate her life at Palms West Funeral Home on Saturday June 20, 2020. Cemetery services will directly follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace-Catholic Cemetery. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to her favorite charity St. Jude Children's Hospital.
