Eileen Ruth Humphrey

Eileen Ruth Humphrey, 98, of Royal Palm Beach, FL passed away January 31, 2014. Born in Bellefontaine, OH, she and her husband of 66 years, John Paul, were active in many social and Methodist Church activities as well as running a successful business in Ohio. She and John moved to Lake Worth, FL in 1960 to own and operate Kristine's Restaurant. Retiring to Blairsville in the north Georgia mountains in 1974, they spent many wonderful years on "Happy Hill" with many dear friends. They returned to Florida in 1997 to spend their final years in the warmth of the Florida sunshine. After John passed in 2002, Eileen joined her son, Skip, to help with the care of his ailing wife, Linda. They were very close until the very end. Eileen passed away peacefully in the care of Hospice and the wonderful staff of Songbird Villa I assisted living in Royal Palm Beach. She is survived by her sons, John W. (Jack) of Long Beach, CA, James A. (Jim) of Gainesville, FL and Robert A. (Skip) of Royal Palm Beach, FL. A private honor guard service for both John and Eileen will be held at the South Florida National (VA) cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. No virus found in this message.
