Edward Santos passed away in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, July 23, 2022. Edward, "Eddie", was born on June 9, 1972 in Union City, New Jersey to Eduardo Santos and Frances (Fermin) Santos. As a child, Eddie lived in New York and Hialeah, Florida. He finished his elementary and middle school years in Dominican Republic before returning to Florida, where he graduated from Hollywood Hills High School. After graduating, Eddie worked in the hospitality industry as front desk management where he received various outstanding customer and employee relations recognitions. While working, he pursued a degree in Information Technology through the University of Phoenix. Eddie was raised in a Christian home where we believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Eddie loved to travel and was blessed to have been able to visit Peru, Argentina, Germany, and Spain. The gaming community was a big part of his life, where he enjoyed playing, but also planned and judged gaming events. Eddie was a big fan of Transformers, to the point that he inadvertently made his little sister into a Transformers fan too. He loved trying different cuisines and got excited when trying different restaurants. Eddie enjoyed his family and is known for always joking around - It was hard to have a serious conversation with him at times as he always replies with a joke or a "smart" comment. Eddie has battled with health problems from a very young age; however, he fought it and had a will to live until his last day here on earth. Eddie is survived by his parents, Eduardo and Frances Santos. His siblings are Dania Santos and Eduardito Santos. Eddie was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Eddie will be deeply missed and never forgotten. "We've suffered losses, but we've not lost the war……………..transform and rollout!"
