EDMUND L. BEARDSLEY Edmund L. Beardsley, 59, of Wellington, FL passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2007. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he has been a Florida resident since 1980. He served in the US Army from 1968-1970. He spent the past 18 years working for the Palm Beach County Water Utilities. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Suzanne Beardsley, of Wellington, FL; daughters, Christine Beardsley and Michelle Martin, of Atlanta, GA; son, Edmund E. Beardsley, of Lantana, FL; daughter-in-law, Danielle Beardsley; son-in-law, Gregory Martin, granddaughter; Kayla Martin; grandson Beardsley due to arrive February 2008. Husband, Father, Grandfather, and friend, Ed touched many lives with his intelligent recollection of facts and witty sense of humor. He had an intense thirst for reading, history, and knowledge. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 4pm-8pm Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Funeral Service will be held at 1pm Wednesday with internment to follow at South Florida National, Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made payable to Hospice of Palm Beach County and mailed to Suzanne Beardsley directly.
