Edith Marie Mazzeo

Edith Marie Mazzeo, 71 Edith "Eydie" Mazzeo passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2017 at the Bethesda Hospice Facility in Boynton Beach, FL after a long battle with cancer. Edith was born in Newark, New Jersey on August 6, 1946 the daughter of Alba and Dante Marelli. She was married to Joseph Anthony Mazzeo on October 23, 1966. He preceded her in death October 28, 2010. Edith received her cosmetology license during her high school education and became a successful salon owner in Florham Park, NJ where she lived for 25 years before retiring to Florida. She is survived by her son Michael Anthony Mazzeo, daughter Denise Marie Pondiscio and husband Ralph; She is also survived by her brother Dante Marelli and two loving granddaughters, Stefanie and Talia. The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Palms West Funeral Home; 110 Business Park Way- Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
